Eye Bank at DMGMCH: Advancing Vision Care in Purulia

Deben Mahata Government Medical College and Hospital (DMGMCH), Purulia, is taking another significant step forward in strengthening specialized healthcare services with the establishment of an Eye Bank at the Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) building, Hatuara.

The initiative is being developed under the Department of Ophthalmology and is expected to play a crucial role in promoting corneal transplantation and preventing avoidable blindness in the region.
