The Medical Superintendent cum Vice-Principal (MSVP) occupies a pivotal position in the administration of Purulia Government Medical College & Hospital. As the chief executive of the hospital, the MSVP provides strategic leadership in patient care, clinical governance, hospital administration, quality assurance, and the effective functioning of healthcare services.

Since the establishment of the institution in 2018, the office has been entrusted to distinguished academicians and clinicians whose dedication, integrity, and administrative vision have shaped the growth of the hospital.
