About the Programme

The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme at Deben Mahata Government Medical College & Hospital, Purulia is delivered in accordance with the Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The curriculum integrates basic medical sciences, early clinical exposure, clinical medicine, professionalism, ethics, communication skills, community-based education, and research, ensuring a holistic learning experience.
